About The Role
Role Purpose: To lead high-impact consulting engagements and client relationships through sourcing & leading new business
development opportunities and then successfully delivering & concluding such consulting projects to the Clients in India and
from overseas.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Work with Senior Partners in new business development in specified focus areas / sectors, project management &
delivery, and client relationship management – under guidance & supervision from Senior Partners in the company.
• Independently lead in identifying new business opportunities, pursue and close them as new consulting assignments,
and take ownership for the full lifecycle of delivery and successful closure of such assignments.
• Manage existing and new client relationships under the guidance of Partner/s
• Publish point-of-views and thought leadership in related domains and areas of focus
Desired Profile:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in science and engineering from a highly reputed institution, and / or a master’s degree
in management, from institutions of repute; additional courses taken in specialized areas such as analytics would be
an asset.
• 12–15 years with a mix of experience in operations, business development and strategy planning in business
organizations (preferably in consumer facing sectors) and in management consulting in project delivery and
demonstrable experience in business development in a reputed management consulting firm
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and organise oneself, to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
• Proven experience in data analytics / application of analytics
• Demonstrated experience in leading high impact consulting projects and in developing & mentoring teams of
consultants
Interest/Experience in Business Development, Sales, and Business Advisory Roles:
• Has presented, influenced, and championed ideas and translated them into opportunities for prospective Clients and
engaged them for planning and implementation of such opportunities
• Demonstrable experience or ability to analyze macro and micro economic, consumer, and consumption trends into
insights for Clients
• Possess an informed point-of-view on social, political and cultural trends that have a direct or indirect impact on a wide
range of consumer goods & services sectors
• Played key roles in growth, innovation and organizational development related initiatives
• Actively contributed towards building a culture of data-centricity and excellence
• Mentored teams and individuals and promoted a culture of collaboration and continuous learning
Other Details:
• Travel: Open to travel (8–10 days/month) mostly within India (occasionally, overseas)
• Location: NCR-based (no WFH)
